While maintaing high ethical standards and compiling with laws regulations are important for all businesses, manufacturing companies face additional challenges because of the potential for  harming employees and consumers. When you operate a manufacturing line,  the potential for energy to  workers and the possibilities that your products are ensafe for consumers is always present. Implementing policies,  procedures and control  to reduce these risks is not only ethical - it is often a legal requirement.


  • Maintaining a safe and ethical working environment 

.Ethical business priorties safty in the workplace.  In the manufacturing environment, the presence of machine and raw materials make adequate safetly procedures both  legally mandatory and ethically necessary. Addition to basic safty rules, such as wearing protective gear   from engaging in risk behavior, is the main issue relate to a reasonable ballence between inconvience, productivity and safty. Applying to many rules creates compliance problems, while not addressing safty issue can lead to injury. If u a give the employees a role in developing safty regulations for a production line, it helps in the implementation of effective rule that strike the right balance

  • Reducing harm to environment
Manufacturing process use energy and produce waste. Legal restrictions governed how companies can produce energy while limiting  emissions and how they have to treat way to reduce environmental damage.  Ethics in the production in influence the overall approach of a company toward environmental degradation cause by its manufacturing operations. Taking into account both legal and ethical factors, you have to reduce your energy used by increasing energy efficiency and exploring the use of alternative technologies. At the same time you can reduce waste by looking at where it generated and changing your manufacturing process to produce as little as possible. 

  • Duty to provide safe products
In addition to internal issues, manufacturing companies face liability one their product leave the factory. Product safty is governed by legislations, and ethical concerns  mean you should only ship products that have been tested for safty. While knowingly shipping dangerous products is illegal and unethical that uses of your products also may have unintended and harmful effects. Going beyond legal requirements throughly test all aspects of the use of your products reduces your exposure to possible law suits and fulfills your ethical duties.

    1. Some ethics for manufacturing are like companies should also print the expiry date on the products if the product is consumable. Company should also print instructions on the product like 'how to use'
